Manual Machine Operator (Press Brake, Punch, and Shear Machines)

Paragon Furniture, Inc. is seeking a dependable Manual Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position sets up and operates a manual press brake to bend and form sheet metal parts used in furniture production.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a manual press brake according to work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Select and install appropriate punches and dies.
• Adjust tooling, stops, and machine settings to achieve required bend angles and dimensions.
• Measure and inspect parts using tape measures, calipers, squares, and angle gauges.
• Check the first piece and monitor quality throughout each production run.
• Identify and report defective parts, tooling concerns, and equipment issues.
• Follow machine guarding procedures, safety rules, and required PPE practices.
• Keep the work area clean and organized and assist with other production duties as needed.
