Manual QA Engineer Associate 1 | JOR | INBOX TEST

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Manual QA Engineer Associate 1 to join our Quality Assurance team. The role supports testing and quality assurance of software applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring software meets defined business and functional requirements. This is an entry-level position for individuals beginning their career in software QA.Key Responsibilities:

• Review business and functional requirements to understand testing needs.
• Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Retest defect fixes and perform regression testing.
• Prepare and maintain test data and documentation.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Document test results and provide timely updates on testing progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in software testing or QA.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC.
• Basic knowledge of defect tracking tools (Jira or Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, Xray), Postman, and SQL is a plus.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an advantage.
