We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with e-commerce experience to join our team on a part-time basis.

Workload: ~80 hours/month

About the role

You will work on 6–8 e-commerce projects, testing web stores and related integrations. You’ll be embedded into the client’s workflow and communicate directly with the project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manual testing of e-commerce websites and platforms
  • Functional, regression, smoke and exploratory testing
  • Testing tasks/tickets according to requirements
  • Creating detailed bug reports and test results in Jira
  • Providing screenshots and screencasts when reporting issues
  • Following project-specific testing rules and processes
  • Communicating directly with developers and project stakeholders
  • Working independently across several projects

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial Manual QA experience
  • Solid e-commerce testing experience
  • Experience with at least one of:
  • Magento / Adobe Commerce
  • Shopware
  • Shopify
  • BigCommerce
  • Good understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with Jira
  • Ability to create clear and detailed bug reports
  • Good English communication skills
  • Ability to quickly switch between different projects and requirements

Nice to have

  • Experience testing ERP, payment, shipping or third-party integrations
  • Basic API testing knowledge
  • Experience with multiple e-commerce platforms
  • Experience working with international teams
