Job Description

Test Execution & Verification

• Conduct end-to-end (E2E) sanity and regression testing for devices and hardware rotations.
• Perform manual software and hardware verification for development programs across Glasses, Headsets, and Connectivity domains.
• Execute functional testing on device-dependent features, including display/optics, sensory tracking (head/hand tracking
• Validate wireless connectivity standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth connectivity/audio) and Internationalization (i18n).
• Use ADB commands and Linux console tools to capture device logs, perform basic log triaging, and flash firmware onto devices.

Defect Management & Reporting & Documentation

• Compile and present clear, comprehensive test result summaries daily.
• Manage the full defect life cycle: issue identification, detailed bug reporting, tracking, and triaging.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing on resolved issues to ensure no new regressions are introduced.
• Assist in developing and maintaining test strategy documentation and project artifacts tailored for XR hardware.
• Design, author, and maintain detailed, clear manual test cases based on product specifications.
• Organize and archive project-specific documentation for audit, reference, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
2+ Year of QA testing experience in smart devices, smartphones, wearable tech, or consumer electronics (Experience with XR/AR/VR products is a strong plus).
Proven track record of high-volume execution, comfortable executing 50–100 manual test cases per day in previous roles.
Strong ability to create, execute, and refine test plans and test cases from scratch.
Solid hands-on experience using ADB commands for log capturing and capturing system behavior.
Familiarity with Linux shell commands (must be comfortable navigating the Linux console and running commands according to documentation).
Deep domain knowledge of smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing methodologies.
Highly proficient in bug tracking systems with a knack for writing clear, reproducible bug steps.
Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset to fit into a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

Experience testing IoT devices.
Hands-on wireless connectivity testing experience.
