Manual QA Engineer

We are a Ukrainian outsourcing company Join.To.IT, founded in 2012, delivering software solutions across various business domains.

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality software.

We’re looking for someone with strong manual testing fundamentals, experience in an outsourcing environment, and the ability to work with several projects simultaneously.
Requirements
1+ year of commercial experience as a Manual QA Engineer, preferably in an outsourcing company
English — Intermediate (B1) or higher
Good understanding of web application architecture and client-server interaction
Experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications
Experience reviewing and testing project documentation
Experience creating and maintaining test documentation: test cases, checklists, user stories, bug reports
Experience testing REST APIs
Ability to validate data using SQL queries
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously
Good analytical and communication skills
Responsibilities
Plan and execute testing activities
Define and review Acceptance Criteria (AC), Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD)
Create, update, and maintain test documentation
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
Test REST APIs and validate data
Identify, document, and track bugs
Participate in team and client meetings
Prepare test reports and QA metrics
Contribute to improving QA and development processes
Perform other QA-related tasks assigned by the Team Lead
