Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and usability.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans based on requirements and specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Conduct functional testing to verify that software meets business requirements.
• Use SQL queries to validate data and verify backend processes.
• Participate in test case reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and data integrity checks.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is a plus.
