Manual Tester
Responsibilities
- Analyze the requirements from user stories and conduct effective in-sprint testing.
- Collaborate closely with the development team in all phases of development, perform in-sprint testing, and provide feedback.
- Participate in the preparation of Test Plans and Test Scenarios.
- Prepare Test Data for test cases and execute them.
- Set up the Test Environment to execute test cases successfully.
- Review and analyze Test Cases prepared by other team members.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working on enterprise projects (medium to large-sized projects).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Experience in preparing test data and using associated test data to craft and develop test procedures and cases.
- Experience in reporting bugs and errors to development teams in a well-defined format.
- Should be familiar with agile software development processes/methodologies and have exposure to working with multi-site global teams.
- Should be capable of independently owning testing-related activities within her area and providing inputs to the team.
- Experience in testing desktop and mobile applications will be an added advantage.
