We are looking for a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our Manufacturing team within Jig Management (Chassis). This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced, precision engineering environment.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Design, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, you will play a key role in ensuring jigs and fixtures are built, maintained, inspected, and delivered to the highest standards, supporting the successful manufacture of our Formula One race cars.

What you will be doing

  • Build jig assemblies and associated parts to the correct specification and required tolerances.
  • Interpret technical engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation to ensure work is completed accurately and right first time.
  • Take ownership of jigs throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they are received, handled, stored and maintained correctly.
  • Carry out inspection activities using relevant measurement equipment to verify accuracy and quality.
  • Work closely with the Lead Assembly Technician and wider Manufacturing teams to meet priorities, deadlines and production requirements.
  • Identify and escalate tooling, jig, consumable or technical issues that could impact quality or delivery.
  • Maintain accurate system records and high standards of workshop organisation, safety and professionalism, while supporting apprentices and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Experience within a manufacturing, assembly, tooling, jig build or precision engineering environment.
  • Ability to interpret and work confidently from technical engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using inspection and measurement equipment, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across departments and meet demanding deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

About you

  • You’ll be a motivated, reliable technician who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys working as part of a team, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the manufacturing processes that support our Formula One programme. You'll work with world-class engineering teams, state-of-the-art technologies, and play a vital role in helping deliver championship-winning performance.

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll enjoy:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Private healthcare
  • Pension scheme
  • On-site gym
  • Free daily food allowance
  • And many more!
