ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing Operations

Execute manufacturing batches as per approved formulations, batch manufacturing records, and production plans.

Ensure correct weighing, mixing, blending, processing, and transfer of materials during manufacturing.

Monitor critical process parameters and ensure adherence to approved manufacturing procedures.

Ensure timely completion of batches while maintaining quality and safety standards.


Production Monitoring & Control

Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, yields, and timelines are achieved.

Identify process deviations and coordinate corrective actions to minimize disruptions.

Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment to improve operational efficiency.

Monitor process losses and recommend actions to reduce wastage.


Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), production logs, and process documentation.

Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Support internal audits and inspections by maintaining complete and accurate records.

Report production deviations, incidents, and corrective actions as required.


Material & Inventory Coordination

Coordinate with Stores for timely availability of raw materials, packing materials, and production consumables.

Verify material issuance and consumption against approved production requirements.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of materials during manufacturing.


Equipment & Maintenance Coordination

Ensure production equipment is available and functioning before commencement of manufacturing activities.

Coordinate with Maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdown support.

Report equipment issues promptly to minimize production downtime.


Quality & Process Improvement

Coordinate with QC team for in-process sampling and testing requirements.

Support investigations related to production deviations, rejections, and process improvements.

Participate in initiatives to improve productivity, quality, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.

Recommend process improvements based on observations and production data.


Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure adherence to safety practices and use of appropriate protective equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within manufacturing areas.

Promote safe working practices and compliance with factory safety guidelines.


Purpose of the Job

  • Execute end-to-end manufacturing activities for CNE's product portfolio by ensuring adherence to approved formulations, batch manufacturing processes, and production schedules.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing operations to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with Production, QC, Stores, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure accurate production documentation, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to GMP and safety standards.
  • Support process improvements, yield optimization, and operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations.


Industry Knowledge

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes in FMCG, Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, food, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Knowledge of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), GMP, and production documentation requirements.
  • Familiarity with liquid, powder, tablet, capsule, or confectionery manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of raw material handling, process controls, and yield management.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing operations

Requirements

Education & Experience

  1. B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field.
  2. 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations within FMCG, Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, food, or pharmaceutical industries. Experience in handling liquid, powder, tablet, capsule, or confectionery manufacturing processes is preferred.
