Manufacturing Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily manufacturing operations and support production lines to achieve output, quality, yield, safety and productivity targets.
- Analyse production performance, process data, downtime, scrap and defect trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects to improve process stability, cycle time, cost, yield and manpower efficiency.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process, equipment, material, and workflow issues together with Production, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Quality and Maintenance teams.
- Support new product introduction, process qualification, engineering evaluations, line readiness and production ramp-up activities.
- Develop, review, and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, control plans and training materials.
- Train and coach line leaders, technicians, and operators on manufacturing procedures, process controls, quality requirements, safety practices and 6S standards.
- Support manpower, consumables, tooling, and equipment readiness planning to ensure smooth production execution.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for production excursions, quality issues, safety concerns and recurring line disruptions.
- Prepare manufacturing reports, improvement updates, and management presentations using production data and key performance indicators.
- Support factory expansion, equipment installation, process transfer, and layout or workflow optimization activities when required.
Professional Qualifications:
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field. Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience/knowledge in high-volume manufacturing,semiconductor, electronics, PCB, precision engineering, or relatedmanufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing process control, equipmentoperation, production planning, yield improvement, and shopfloortroubleshooting
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective/preventiveactions, process qualification, and continuous improvement activities
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, basic statisticalanalysis, SPC, FMEA, DOE, or Six Sigma methodology is an advantage
- Ability to develop/apply AI methodologiesis an advantage.
Competencies:
- Able to analyse production data, identify trends, andconvert findings into practical improvement actions
- Able to work effectively with Production, Quality,Equipment, Process Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Supply Chain teams
- Able to lead small improvement projects, coordinateactions, follow up on improvement effectiveness and communicate progressclearly
- Able to compile and present manufacturing reports usingMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools
- Experience working/performing tasks in a clean-room,controlled production, or highly regulated manufacturing environments is anadvantage

- Experience in semiconductor, PCB, copper plating, electronics, precision engineering, or other high-volume manufacturing environments is an advantage. Willingness to support shift operations, production escalations, factory expansion, equipment installation, or process transfer activities when required.
- Good internship, work experience, strong CCAs are an advantage.
