In this role, you’ll turn technical challenges into practical solutions that support continuous improvement and help our manufacturing operations perform at their best.

You’ll work across manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation projects to identify opportunities for improvement, establish production standards, investigate process issues, and implement approved enhancements. From evaluating new equipment and coordinating with vendors to developing technical documentation and supporting production teams, your work will have a direct impact on quality, productivity, and operational performance.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset. If you enjoy digging into the details, collaborating across departments, and seeing your ideas translate into real manufacturing improvements, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve manufacturing processes: Analyze production challenges, identify root causes, and develop solutions that improve quality, reduce losses, and increase efficiency.

  • Establish production standards: Develop and maintain manufacturing operation standards and time standards to support consistent, effective production.

  • Coordinate engineering changes: Manage customer technical notices through established engineering notice procedures and support projects that meet production and design objectives.

  • Implement process enhancements: Recommend and implement approved improvements through equipment adjustments, additional tooling, and automation.

  • Evaluate automation opportunities: Research new equipment, assess potential applications, and coordinate with vendors and Purchasing on equipment procurement and proof-of-concept evaluations.

  • Lead equipment introductions: Help bring newly purchased equipment into manufacturing areas, coordinating implementation to support successful adoption.

  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with other departments on engineering and continuous improvement projects, providing technical guidance and training as needed.

  • Document and communicate results: Develop technical reports, presentations, and process documentation to support informed decisions and effective implementation.

  • Support a safe, quality-focused workplace: Follow company safety programs, 6S initiatives, ISO procedures, and established company policies.

What Sets You Apart

  • You approach manufacturing challenges with curiosity, critical thinking, and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • You look beyond immediate problems to identify opportunities for lasting process improvements.

  • You understand how equipment, tooling, automation, and standardized processes work together to improve manufacturing performance.

  • You can evaluate new technologies and equipment while considering existing resources and operational needs.

  • You take ownership of projects, balancing technical details with production priorities and business objectives.

  • You communicate technical concepts clearly and build productive working relationships across departments.

  • You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others adopt improved processes and technologies.

If you’re an engineer who enjoys turning complex problems into measurable improvements and helping manufacturing teams work smarter, we’d love to hear from you.
