Manufacturing Engineer

For Manufacturing services in the Engineering/Diabetes Reservoirs area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and three to five (3-5) years of experience in a medical device manufacturing industry.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish).
• Shift: Administrative Shift and according to business needs.
• Experience in:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Minitab Statistical Tool
  • Problem solving knowledge. (Ex. Yellow or Green Belt methodology)
  • SAP & FactoryWorks (Nice to have).

The Personality Part:

• If you have excellent communication skills and aren’t afraid to ask for help when you need it (in addition to your excellent Maintenance skills), this might be the job for you! Sprinkle on a love of the scientific method, teamwork, and, above all else, being ethical, and you just might have what it takes to take on this new challenge. Bring it on!

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide production support engineering related to testing methods, procedures and problems.
• Troubleshoot production-related testing issues and problems.
• Support the resolution of device and product-related issues.
• Investigate and address production yield problems.
• Perform analysis of product rejections.
• Support engineering changes related to suppliers.
• Optimize production processes while considering cost constraints.
