Title: Manufacturing Engineer II

Duration: 7+months (Possible Extension)

Location: San Jose, CA 95134

Role:-

· This is a project engineer role. We are looking for a leader who can lead effective team meetings, plan a project, and conduct and execute engineering tasks required to transfer the repair process from one site to another. This professional will support and contribute to the transfer project for laser manufacturing and associated repair ops.

· At our Baytech plant we build, repair and service products including exciting technologies such as intravascular ultrasound, electrophysiology systems for diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias, and laser system for urology application. Our team is growing as we continually invest in R&D and transfer capital equipment products to Baytech for these businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

· Transfer repair capability from its current location to the new San Jose campus

· Plan, document, and execute equipment transfer and validation

· Leads focused sub-team meetings to drive results that support decisions made at the core team level

· Participates and support manufacturing and associated repair to Baytech facility.

· Support due diligence process as defined.

· Coordinate with the appropriate internal and external resources and contribute directly to the project deliverables to meet project timeline.

· Acts independently to implement and follow through

· Participates in project planning and scheduling.

· Attends and contributes to project core team meetings.

· Performs responsibilities required by the transfer project and other duties as assigned or requested.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

· Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor's in Engineering and 2+ Years relevant industry experience

· Experience in the medical device industry

· Experience in product structure and manufacturing documentation

· Experience in assembly and testing equipment set up and qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in manufacturing site transfer

· Project leadership

· Experience in cleanroom practice
