Manufacturing Engineer
Summary of the Job
- To supervise and improve production at plants and factories. To Support engineering teams and draw up safety protocols.
- Report issue to the Section Head, develop efficiency, best practice for the production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
- Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste
- Developing and implementing continuous process improvements and technological upgrades
- Technological upgrades includes digitization of WI, training materials, SPC Control and Serial Numbers trackings
- Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues. (Cycle Time Improvement and Minimize the reject)
- Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
- Preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
- Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel tools requirements.
- Work with NPI Team to improve the Work Instructions (WI) and update WI
- Work with NPI Team to perfect the BOM and update BOM.
- Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
- Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
- Enforce Safety Procedures and practices at all times in compliance to company safety policies and regulatory standards.
- Performs duties as assigned or as situation dictates
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in contract manufacturing environment
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3 years experience in contract manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Batch and mass production, machinery, lean processes, and standards.
- Experience in medical devices, cleanroom, GMP environment advantageous
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Troubleshooting skills using analysis tools/approach and attention to detail.
- Documentation and organization skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management software and AutoCAD.
