MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform immediate on-site troubleshooting and maintenance for automated machinery to prevent production defects and minimize downtime.
- Record, maintain, and update machine breakdown reports promptly
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective counter measures
- Monitor, maintain, and perform monthly stock checks of critical spare parts
- Liaise with machine suppliers and agents for repair and maintenance works
- Carry out calibration and verification of machine equipment
- Test, maintain, and ensure all machine safety systems are in proper working condition
Requirements
- Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in repair and maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in troubleshooting production machinery, industrial automation, and plant equipment
- Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.
Salary: $4,000 - $5,500
