Manufacturing Process Engineer - APAC
Our client is a fast-growing international beverage business with a regional co-manufacturing network across Asia Pacific. They are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to improve plant performance, support new installations and troubleshoot liquid-processing operations across partner factories. This Singapore-based role combines engineering projects, operational excellence and close collaboration with manufacturing, quality and supply-chain stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Support new plant installations and continuous-improvement projects from a processing perspective, managing timelines and coordinating stakeholders.
• Provide technical support toco-manufacturing partners to optimise quality, productivity and cost, and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
• Analyse and optimise liquid-processing operations including UHT, pasteurisation, blending, homogenisation and CIP.
• Improve OEE, yield and process efficiency through data analysis, bottleneck identification, root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Support factory SOP development, maintenance planning, manufacturing audits and investigations into product-quality issues.
• Lead plant trials, new-process development, product improvements and the commercialisation of new products and packaging formats.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support sustainability initiatives involving water, chemicals and energy use.
What We Are Looking For
• At least 4 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably within beverages, dairy or another liquid-food environment.
• Practical knowledge of low-acid food and aseptic beverage production, including liquid-processing equipment and manufacturing constraints.
• Sound understanding of mechanical P&IDs, manufacturing procedures and process-sequence requirements.
• Experience with troubleshooting, continuous improvement, project execution and data-driven problem solving.
• Exposure to HACCP, GMP and ISO-based food-quality systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with willingness to travel approximately 50% across APAC.
