Manufacturing (Quality) Engineering Technician (Production & Process Improvement | Manufacturing)
We’re looking for a technically minded Manufacturing Engineering Technician who enjoys figuring out how things work—and finding ways to make them work better.
This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment where you’ll work closely with production, Equipment Technicians, and Engineering to troubleshoot equipment and processes, evaluate machine performance, and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
You’ll use technical data, testing, and problem-solving skills to understand what’s happening on the production floor and help turn those findings into practical improvements. Just as important, we’re looking for someone who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and take initiative when solving technical challenges.
What You’ll Do
• Investigate production processes and equipment performance to identify problems affecting quality, efficiency, or productivity
• Conduct engineering tests, evaluations, and experiments to collect data and support troubleshooting and process improvement activities
• Analyze production and historical data to identify trends, determine true causes of issues, and recommend improvements
• Work closely with Equipment Technicians to evaluate part quality following machine adjustments and help resolve equipment-related issues
• Test and troubleshoot equipment and production processes using established engineering and manufacturing guidelines
• Perform inspections and technical evaluations to support production quality and process performance
• Make minor equipment or process adjustments as needed to support production and improve performance
• Partner with Engineering to develop and implement new tools, fixtures, and other solutions designed to improve productivity
• Develop and maintain documentation including workmanship standards, assembly drawings, testing information, and process-related materials
• Support production, engineering, and continuous improvement projects while balancing multiple assignments and deadlines
• Use specialized diagnostic and testing equipment to evaluate equipment and process performance
What Sets You Apart
• You’re naturally curious and want to understand why something isn’t working—not just get it running again
• You enjoy using data, testing, and observation to solve production problems
• You look for opportunities to make processes more efficient, reliable, and repeatable
• You’re comfortable working directly on the production floor and collaborating with technicians, engineers, and operators
• You can turn technical information into practical recommendations that others can understand and use
• You’re organized and able to keep multiple projects moving without losing sight of quality or deadlines
• You take ownership of problems and follow them through to a sustainable solution
Why Join Us?
You’ll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly support the equipment, processes, and people that keep production running while giving you opportunities to build your technical skills and contribute to meaningful improvements.
If you’re a hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting, working with data, and finding better ways to do things, we’d like to connect.
