Manufacturing Quality Technician
Overview
Cummings Electrical is hiring a Quality Technician for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX.
Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.

Responsibilities
- Verify Quality Standards from contractor drawings
- Implementing industry and company best practices during inspections
- Ensure the Quality of Product does not waver, regardless of schedule or cost impact
- Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met, while maintaining the highest standard of work possible
- Filling out task related documentation
- Conduct inspections and tests on products or services at various stages of the production or service delivery process
- Documentation of Inspections, including reports and logs
- Ensure company assigned tool and assets are in good condition
- Preparation of daily/weekly progress reports
- Hands on tool use for Quality Inspections
- Keep emphasis on the product and services being the highest standard of Quality achievable
- Conduct layout and coordination to assist in sequencing of all inspections for production team
- Verify the correct product is being used during the installation process
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1+ Years Licensed Electrical Apprentice, preferred
- Basic comprehension of Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in computer knowledge and typing skills required
- Basic Knowledge of Electrical installations, preferred
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties
