Compensation for this role: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00, commensurate with experience
Shift: 3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Summary:
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating day-to-day manufacturing operations within a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of products that meet customer, quality, and delivery requirements while supporting broader operational and business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Lead, plan, and direct production activities to ensure adherence to quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets.
- Foster a strong safety culture by promoting compliance with all safety policies and actively participating in continuous safety improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Planning—to support organizational goals and operational excellence.
- Drive performance against key metrics, including cost, quality, delivery, and safety, while identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
- Support the deployment of manufacturing strategies, standard work, control systems, and performance metrics to monitor operations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions related to productivity, capacity, quality, and labor utilization.
- Onboard, train, and develop hourly employees to build a capable, engaged, and flexible workforce.
- Oversee timekeeping, attendance, and labor reporting in compliance with company policies.
- Manage area layout, material flow, and work cell organization to optimize efficiency and throughput.
- Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations; promptly report and address unsafe conditions.
