Manufacturing Support

Ensures the Newton R&D Facility runs smoothly by supporting Operations in various areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You operate the production line to pack honey products into finished goods and prepare them for distribution

- You manage honey batches by staging, loading and unloading hot boxes

- You work in the warehouse area by pulling and loading orders/transfers, unloading inbound trucks and staging components for production

- You maintain accurate and organized inventory at all times

- You manage empty drum inventory which includes inspecting, repairing, washing, lidding, and palletizing empty drums

- You help in other departments as needed. This could include working at the Hillsboro facility as well

TOOLKIT/SKILLS REQUIRED:

- You are detail-oriented and catch on to many new tasks quickly. You are self-motivated and look for ways to help those around you.

- You are a team player and willing to do whatever it takes to complete the days manufacturing goal.

- You are able to efficiently grab, lift or move various objects around the plant with a forklift or manually

- You aren't afraid to "get your hands dirty." You need to be able to lift 55 lb. drums repeatedly, on occasion.

- You have effective interpersonal communication skills, a positive attitude and work well in teams.

- You are conscious of safety. You can safely operate all manufacturing equipment including forklift and company vehicles.
