As an apprentice, you'll join a small team in a busy manufacturing environment, gaining hands-on experience and learning how the injection moulding process works from start to finish. You'll develop practical and technical skills while supporting day-to-day production and working closely with experienced colleagues. As you grow in the role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your understanding of the machinery and wider production operations, with the longer-term aim of gaining the skills needed to run a production shift.

You're confident, proactive and willing to get stuck in, whether that's supporting production, handling materials or helping your team keep things running smoothly. You have basic English, maths and IT skills, communicate well with others and are keen to develop your technical knowledge, confidence and leadership skills.

You follow instructions carefully and understand the importance of safety, quality and consistency. You have a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic and take pride in doing things properly. You're reliable, punctual and comfortable working shifts, including days or nights when required. You can stay focused during repetitive tasks and are happy with the physical nature of the role, including manual handling and spending long periods standing or sitting.

You learn best by watching and doing, building confidence through practical, hands-on experience. You're hardworking, motivated and passionate about doing a good job, with a positive attitude towards learning new skills. You're comfortable working independently but also enjoy being part of a small team, supporting colleagues and taking initiative when needed. Most importantly, you're keen to develop your technical skills and build a long-term career in manufacturing.
