Manufacturing Technician
Location: 8 Upper Changi Road North
Working Hours
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Night Shift: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM
- Noon Shift Allowance: $25 per shift
- Transport is provided for the Noon Shift.
Job Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Follow routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, and written or verbal instructions.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair work.
- Identify and correct assembly or testing errors.
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure all required parts are available before starting work.
- Record work progress, labour details, and other relevant information using a computer system.
- Assist with basic computer programming, equipment repair, or software installation when required.
- Check and detail completed work to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Support troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and operating instructions.
- Use protective equipment and materials properly.
- Report accidents, injuries, hazards, or emergencies promptly to the supervisor or Safety Department.
Requirements
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Training will be provided.
- Able to follow technical instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Basic electrical, mechanical, or technical knowledge would be an advantage.
- Willing to perform hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting work.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
