Manufacturing Technician
Summary
Manufacturing Technician sets up and operates automated testing equipment in a cleanroom, performs quality checks, troubleshoots issues, and ensures compliance with safety and documentation standards.
The primary function of a Manufacturing Technician is to test products usingautomated equipment in a cleanroom environment and carry out rework andrebuilding for products which fail, to ensure product quality through adherenceto processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operations: Set up, operate and monitor production machinery to assemble, test and rebuild products according to technical specifications.
Quality Control: Test, inspect and record finished products for defects to ensure compliance to quality standards.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime. Maintain cleanliness of cleanroom and storeroom following 5S requirements.
Documentation: Record production, maintenance and material usage data accurately, and report when materials do not meet manufacturing requirements and schedule.
Safety Compliance: Follow environment, health and safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment and report all near-misses and incidents.
Store Management: Receive and inspect incoming parts and components and verify outgoing finished products, and report when there is any mismatch.
