Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor / PCB Production)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support production operations within a semiconductor, PCB, or substrate manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for equipment operation, process execution, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, quality inspections, and continuous improvement activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment to support daily manufacturing activities.
• Perform process setup, part conversion, and recipe verification for production runs.
• Support start-up, qualification, and mass production activities.
• Train and guide production operators on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues in collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and root cause analysis for process deviations, equipment issues, and product defects.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic equipment servicing.
• Carry out precision measurements, inspections, and quality checks according to product specifications.
• Conduct chemical analysis and testing as required by manufacturing processes.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, and production consumables.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with experience in Semiconductor, PCB, Electronics, Wafer Fabrication, or Substrate Manufacturing
