MARINE CARPENTER-ASSEMBLY
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing carpentry, fitting, and installation tasks throughout the sportfishing boat construction and production process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous marine carpentry experience is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in finish carpentry, cabinetry, woodworking, construction, or other related skilled trades are encouraged to apply.
- Strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of woodworking materials, fastening methods, and installation practices.
- Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate measurements, proper fitting, and precise installation of components in accordance with company quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing cabinetry, trim, panels, doors, fixtures, and other interior and exterior components.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Demonstrate dependable attendance.
- Maintain high standards of quality workmanship.
- Work cooperatively with other assembly personnel to meet production schedules.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
