Marine & HSE Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead marine HSE activities and conduct investigations for incidents, injuries, accidents and operational issues.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Conduct regular vessel visits, safety inspections, shipboard meetings and drills.
• Advise Masters on marine HSE, navigational and operational matters.
• Support / assume DPA responsibilities.
• Ensure vessels comply with Class, Flag State and SIRE requirements, including attending relevant inspections and surveys.
• Support vessel dry-docking, repairs and general condition monitoring.
• Assist with deck consumables, requisitions and vessel procurement matters.
• Identify training needs, conduct induction and monitor competency of deck officers.
• Support crewing matters including selection, interviews, performance review and welfare of deck personnel.
• Participate in emergency response and other fleet management activities as required.

Job Requirement:

• Strong marine operations / HSE background.
• Good knowledge of vessel safety, incident investigation, Class / Flag compliance and SIRE.
• Experience in ship visits, audits, crew training and fleet support.
• DPA / ISM / marine safety exposure would be an advantage.
