Inbound / Receiving
Unloading & Inspection: Unload incoming shipments and verify the product name, specifications, quantity, and batch numbers against purchase orders or delivery notes. Check for any visible damage or defects.
System Entry & Put-away: Record the received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system. Label the items and place them in the designated racks or bin locations.
📦 Inventory / Storage Management
Stocktaking: Conduct regular cycle counts (daily, weekly, monthly) or annual physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy. Ensure that physical counts match system records and bin labels.
Space & Safety: Optimize warehouse layout and shelving to maintain orderliness. Implement safety protocols, including fire prevention, theft prevention, and moisture/humidity control.
Warehouse Maintenance: Implement 5S or 6S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to keep the warehouse clean and organized.
📤 Outbound / Shipping
Order Picking: Accurately pick goods according to customer orders or material requisition forms, strictly following the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles.
Packing & Loading: Properly pack the picked items to prevent damage during transit and coordinate the loading of goods onto delivery vehicles.
Documentation: Process all outbound paperwork (e.g., delivery orders, picking lists) and perform the system deduction/outbound transactions.
