MARINE MANAGER

Job Descriptions:-

• Work together with project team in planning, scheduling, and coordinating marine projects to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate and manage technical maintenance and drydocking activities to ensure vessel seaworthiness and operational readiness
• Prepare, maintain, and update detailed project schedules and progress reports to track milestones and deliverables
• Compile and manage project-related documents including Scope of Job, Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), subcontractor documents, and execution schedules to support project workflows
• Liaise with suppliers to maintain strong professional relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments with the clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
• Maintaining contact with contractors to be sure the work is being done correctly, on schedule, and within budget.
• Designing and overseeing testing, installation, and repair of marine equipment.
• Coordinating activities with regulatory bodies to ensure that repairs and alterations are done safely and at minimal cost.

Work Experience & Qualification: -

• Generally, prefer site engineer candidates who have some prior experience in a similar role. This is because these professionals are responsible for ensuring the timely completion of marine engineering projects and the safety of those involved, and having some relevant experience in this field can increase an employer's trust in your capabilities.
• Position requires to have degree or its equivalent in engineering - marine engineering management or other relevant subjects.
