Marine / Structural Supervisor
Job Summary
You will travel at short notice to various shipyards, vessels, and project sites to inspect work, verify progress, and coordinate structural activities. You will supervise manpower, resolve site issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards under demanding conditions.
Responsibilities
- Travel promptly to shipyards, vessels, and project locations to support operational requirements
- Board vessels and offshore units to inspect work quality and verify project progress
- Coordinate inspections and project handovers with clients, contractors, engineers, and project personnel
- Deploy locally and overseas for extended site assignments as project demands require
- Manage work schedules effectively under tight deadlines, challenging site conditions, and multiple simultaneous work fronts
- Work flexible hours, including irregular shifts, weekends, and public holidays to support critical project activities
- Supervise manpower on site to ensure efficient task execution and independently resolve site issues
- Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications
- Apply relevant marine structural fabrication, fitting, and welding supervision experience to oversee project execution
