About the Role
The Market Enablement Manager will design and execute training, certification, and readiness programs to equip trade partners (travel agents, tour operators, receptive tour operators, etc.) and Visit Seattle stakeholders (attractions, hoteliers, etc.) with the knowledge to effectively market, sell, and promote Seattle.
What You’ll Do
- Partner Onboarding: Design and manage a structured onboarding and training journey that empowers new trade partners to effectively promote and sell Seattle.
- Content Creation: Develop partner and consumer-facing materials such as webinars, Visit Seattle website content, sales guides, sample trip itineraries, product demos, one-sheets, and pitch decks.
- Training and Certification: Manage the Seattle Destination Training (SDT) platform to deliver effective training across key partner segments and personas (ex: Tour Operator, beginner to expert level)
- Cross-Functional Market Alignment: Collaborate with Visit Seattle’s global representation agency and internal Global Strategy team, to align training, enablement, and partner development efforts with priority markets and internal strategy.
- Familiarization (FAM) Program Development and Execution: Develop a strategic approach to industry familiarization (FAM) trips including a FAM “menu”, FAM itinerary planning, coordination, and on-the-ground hosting, post-FAM follow-up, and production tracking.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze and report on enablement and trade development metrics, including SDT completion and pass rates, agents trained, content engagement, partner engagement, product development and adoption, post-FAM production, and other measurable trade outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in partner enablement, customer success, channel management, sales training, or B2B program management required
- Proficiency with CRM, Itinerary Planning, and LMS platforms required
- Experience with Simple View, Travefy, and Mogul a plus
- Experience coordinating large-scale events, trade shows, or hosting logistics a plus
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership, presentation, and data-analysis skills, attention to detail, bias for action, customer focused
- Experience working with travel advisors, tour operators, destination marketing organizations (DMO), hospitality organizations, or tourism industry partners preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing, launching, and managing training, certification, or partner engagement programs from concept through execution and measurement.

- Base salary range: $82,000 to $110,000 with an annual incentive up to 8%. Compensation decisions are based on experience and scope of responsibility.
