Market Expansion Manager (for France or Netherlands)

Discussion
As JUNA's Market Expansion Manager for France (or Netherlands), based in Berlin, you'll own the build-out of our commercial presence in the French market. Reporting to our Head of Sales, you'll evaluate where JUNA can win, activate existing and new relationships, and turn the strongest French opportunities into signed business.

Market Development
  • You'll build a focused market-entry approach for France (or Netherlands) from our Berlin base rather than a broad-volume sales motion.
  • Evaluate the French (or Dutch) market, customer landscape and commercial potential for JUNA.
  • Prioritize the most attractive segments and focus accounts based on strategic fit and deal potential.
  • Leverage JUNA's existing relationships and partnerships to accelerate access to the French (or Dutch) market.
  • Bring and activate your own network across the French (or Dutch) market and relevant industries.
  • Build local market intelligence on French (or Dutch) customers, competitors, buying dynamics and key decision makers.
New Business
From first contact to signed deal, you'll own the commercial cycle for the French (or Dutch) opportunities you create.
  • Build tailored account plans for selected strategic French (or Dutch) prospects.
  • Open doors and build relationships with senior customer stakeholders in France (or Netherlands).
  • Qualify opportunities based on operational fit, commercial value and customer readiness.
  • Lead customer conversations from first meeting through solution development and business case.
  • Coordinate internal experts across Sales, Commercial Strategy and Operations to shape winning proposals.
  • Negotiate and close high-value new business opportunities.
What that looks like
In the beginning (0-6 months):
  • Ramp Up Quickly: Build a deep understanding of JUNA's product, commercial model and existing relationships in France.
  • Map the Market: Identify the French (or Dutch) segments, customers and decision makers with the strongest potential.

  • Win Strategic Customers: Convert a focused set of high-value French (or Dutch) accounts into signed deals.
  • Build the Playbook: Develop a repeatable France (or Netherlands) market-entry approach based on what works locally.
  • Shape Expansion: Use customer and market insight to influence how JUNA invests and scales in France (or Netherlands).
What you bring:
  • Several years (5-7) of experience in new business, strategic sales, business development or market expansion.
  • A strong track record of opening and converting complex business-to-business or enterprise accounts.
  • An established network in France (or Netherlands) and the relevant industry, with the ability to create senior-level access.
  • Strong understanding of the French (or Dutch) business environment, customer landscape and buying dynamics.
  • Confidence engaging and influencing senior customer stakeholders.
  • Professional fluency in French (or Dutch) and English required.
Who you are:
  • Entrepreneurial: You are comfortable building something from an early stage with limited structure.
  • Strategic: You focus your time where the commercial upside is highest.
  • Relationship-driven: You know how to create trust and access with senior stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded: You can turn market insight into concrete opportunities and deals.
  • Autonomous: You set direction, drive momentum and take ownership without waiting for instructions.
  • Hands-on: You are happy to move from market strategy to prospecting and deal execution in the same day.
  • Persistent: You stay close to strategic accounts and find a way in when the first route does not work.
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, mobility or electric vehicles.
  • Experience launching or growing a business in the French (or Dutch) market.
Leadership and Innovation: Work with a pioneering team dedicated to transforming road logistics and contributing to a sustainable future.
Autonomy and Impact: We value innovation and give you the freedom to grow in our team and make a significant impact.
Sustainability: Join a company where your work directly contributes to reducing carbon emissions in logistics.
Benefits: Join a great team in our dog-friendly, hybrid work model with an office located at the heart of Kreuzberg, where you'll enjoy a relaxed, no-micromanagement culture, regular company events, access to Urban Sports Club and L&D budget, and an office stocked with snacks and drinks to keep you energized.
