Marketing Administrative Coordinator
Summary/Function:
The Marketing Assistant provides administrative, coordination, and execution support for the Marketing Department, with a focus on social media scheduling, content coordination, marketing campaign support, and client service. This entry-level, non-exempt role works under the direction of Marketing team members to help carry out recurring social media posts, assist with approved social media campaigns, support marketing projects, and serve as a professional liaison between the Marketing team and internal clients across the firm.
Primary Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work or internship experience
• 0–2 years of related marketing, communications, social media, administrative, or internship experience
• Interest in social media, digital marketing, brand communications, and client service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow direction and ask clarifying questions when needed
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to track multiple assignments and deadlines
• Ability to support recurring social media posts, basic content updates, and marketing project coordination with accuracy and consistency
• Comfort working collaboratively with Marketing team members, internal clients, Compliance, Legal, and other business partners
• Ability to work with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, or design software preferred
• Dependable, professional, receptive to feedback, and able to maintain a high degree of follow-through
Primary Duties:
• Support the Marketing Department with day-to-day coordination and execution of marketing projects, social media activities, and department priorities.
• Assist with regularly occurring social media posts, including gathering content, preparing draft copy, coordinating review, scheduling approved posts, and maintaining related records.
• Take directions from Marketing team members to help carry out social media campaigns, digital content updates, and other marketing initiatives in alignment with firm brand and compliance standards.
• Serve as a responsive liaison between the Marketing team and internal clients by gathering information, clarifying requests, tracking next steps, and helping ensure timely follow-up.
• Assist with preparing, proofreading, organizing, and updating marketing materials, presentations, client communications, web content, social media content, and other collateral.
• Coordinate approvals with Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders as directed, and maintain accurate documentation of approvals and project status.
• Track project timelines, maintain task lists, provide status updates, and help keep marketing deliverables moving forward.
• Support Marketing team meetings, campaign planning, client request intake, and follow-up activities as needed.
• Process monthly Expense reports including gathering required information, reviewing for accuracy, routing for approval as needed, and maintaining related records.
• Help monitor social media activity and route questions, issues, or requests to the appropriate Marketing team member or stakeholder.
• Perform other administrative and marketing support duties as assigned, including organizing, proofing, editing, filing, and basic design or content support.

The potential base pay hiring range for this role is $26.20 - $35.00 an hour. This role is eligible to participate in applicable D.A. Davidson variable compensation programs. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.
