Summary:
The Marketing Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed marketing strategies by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting marketing performance across multiple channels—including digital advertising, email campaigns, social media, and SEO/SEM—while aligning results with broader business objectives. By leveraging advanced analytics tools and reporting frameworks, you will help optimize campaign effectiveness, improve customer acquisition and retention, and support ROI-driven decision-making. This role is essential to ensuring that marketing initiatives are not only creative and engaging but also measurable, scalable, and aligned with organizational growth goals. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of marketing data from CRM systems, web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and advertising dashboards (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards to track campaign effectiveness, customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLTV), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to evaluate marketing tactics and recommend data-backed optimizations.
- Perform cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and attribution modeling to understand customer behavior and campaign impact across the customer journey.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to provide insights that inform strategy, messaging, targeting, and budget allocation.
- Prepare regular performance reports and executive summaries, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in marketing efforts.
- Stay current with emerging analytics tools, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a similar data-driven role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics) and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Strong understanding of marketing metrics, attribution models (last-click, multi-touch), and customer journey mapping.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
