Your Role & Reporting:
The Marketing and Brand Coordinator reports to the IT Team Lead.
Role Summary:
The Marketing and Brand Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency, streamline marketing operations, and driving digital engagement. Key duties include acting as a brand guardian by managing and organizing digital assets, assisting with basic content creation, and monitoring social media channels for community engagement. Additionally, the role provides operational support by tracking project timelines, coordinating with external merchandise and print vendors, compiling monthly marketing performance reports, and handling essential administrative tasks like preparing presentation decks and processing invoices. This role will also play a part in supporting the function of the IT Team with GIS and Data Technology.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Brand & Content Support
- Brand Guardianship: Review internal and external marketing materials (presentations, social media posts, templates) to ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines.
- Asset Management: Maintain and organize our digital asset library (logos, photos, videos, templates), making sure files are up-to-date and accessible.
- Basic Content Creation: Assist in drafting or scheduling social media copy, email newsletters, or website updates based on provided templates.
2. Marketing Operations & Admin
- Project Tracking: Update and maintain the media marketing committee’s project management board (Buffer) to keep timelines on track.
- Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with printers and merchandise vendors to get quotes, place orders, and track deliveries for promotional items.
- Administrative Help: Prepare presentation decks, organize meeting notes, and assist with Business Development Team initiatives as needed.
- IT Impact: Support IT initiatives through Geographic Information Systems (Go2) and Data Technology
3. Social Media & Reporting
- Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, responding to basic comments/DMs, and flagging important inquiries.
- Monthly Analytics: Compile basic performance data from social media and email marketing platforms into a simple monthly report.
