Marketing and Communications Intern

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management of the school’s Instagram and Facebook accounts • Create photos, videos, stories and other content during school events and activities • Assist with the preparation and publication of social media posts • Support the development and management of the editorial calendar • Collect and organise content from different areas of the school • Assist in promoting school events, projects and initiatives • Support the preparation of newsletters, presentations and communication materials • Ensure that published content is consistent with the school’s identity and communication guidelines • Work with colleagues to identify stories and activities that can be shared with the school community • Support the Country Marketing Manager in general marketing and communication activities • Handle images, information and personal data in accordance with privacy and safeguarding requirements

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Degree course or recent qualification in Marketing, Communication, Media, Graphic Design or a related field • Strong interest in social media, digital communication and content creation • Good knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and digital content formats • Basic photography and video-making skills • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva

• Good written and verbal communication skills • Creative, accurate and well organised • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good knowledge of Italian and English • Interest in the education sector and in working within a school environment
