Marketing and Data Intern
About the role
We’re looking for a Marketing and Data Intern to join our Marketing team. In this role, you’ll support marketing initiatives through data analysis, campaign reporting, research, and day-to-day execution. You’ll work with marketing and customer data to uncover insights, measure performance, and help the team make better, data-informed decisions.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience at the intersection of marketing, data, and AI, working alongside teams across Nomni while contributing to real projects and business outcomes.
What you'll do
- Collect, clean, organise, and analyse marketing and customer data from multiple sources.
- Support campaign reporting and track key metrics including engagement, leads, conversions, and funnel performance.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to help the team understand marketing performance.
- Assist with audience segmentation, customer analysis, and targeting for marketing campaigns.
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support the execution and measurement of digital marketing campaigns across relevant channels.
- Help maintain accurate and reliable data across marketing systems and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
- Use AI tools to support research, analysis, content workflows, and marketing productivity.
- Assist with testing and experimentation across campaigns, audiences, messaging, and channels.
- Turn data and research into clear insights that can support marketing and business decisions.
Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with numbers and data.
- Working knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, filtering, and basic data analysis.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, data analytics, customer behaviour, and AI.
- Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to working with data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable learning new tools and ways of working.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of SQL or another data-querying language.
- Exposure to data visualisation or BI tools.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, CRM platforms, or marketing automation tools.
- Exposure to digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads.
- Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language.
- Experience using generative AI tools for research, analysis, automation, or marketing workflows.
- An understanding of A/B testing, experimentation, or campaign performance analysis.
- Previous internship, university project, or personal project involving marketing or data analysis.
