Marketing Assistant

Wizard Professional Services is seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team in Booragoon. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this hands-on role provides vital administrative and operational support across promotional campaigns, local marketing, and event coordination. You will serve as the central coordinator for our Marketing Helpdesk, ensuring store-level queries, campaign assets, and administrative tasks are resolved efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign & Operational Coordination: Assist with end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, catalogue proofing, and collateral distribution.
  • Store Marketing & Helpdesk Management: Act as the primary point of contact for store support, managing Local Area Marketing (LAM) requests via ConnectWise (Helpdesk).
  • Financial & Administrative Integrity: Track marketing spend, process invoices, and maintain the project WIP to keep activities on budget.
  • Events & Partnerships: Support logistics for corporate events, trade shows, product launches, and community partnership activations.

Requirements

We will provide full training on all internal systems and administrative processes.
Essential Criteria:
  • Degree or interest in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination or administrative roles.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication, high attention to detail, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to manage high-volume tasks under strict daily deadlines.
  • Proactive attitude, collaborative mindset, and ability to take ownership of tasks independently.
  • Comfortable working in an open-plan environment with a strong desire to learn and develop in marketing.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Basic Canva or graphic design skills.
  • Understanding of basic marketing/promotional activities and ability to suggest process improvements.
  • Experience in retail, franchising, or corporate environments.
  • Proficiency with ConnectWise or similar ticketing/workflow software.
Other Requirements
  • Must hold a valid Australian driver's licence.
  • Must have full rights to live and work in Australia and pass a National Police Check.
