Marketing Automation Consultant

Responsibilities

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join our team. You’ll split your time between running day-to-day BAU campaigns for a key client and helping our internal team tackle backlog work across SFMC and Marketo. You’ll work alongside a Senior Consultant who will handle overarching strategy and escalations, giving you the space to take real ownership of daily execution and client communication
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Client Support: Own everyday SFMC execution, email builds, audience segmentation, and campaign launches for a dedicated client.
  • Team Backlog: Jump into broader marketing automation requests across both SFMC and Marketo as needed.
  • Email Production: Build clean, responsive emails from scratch, and adapt code from our existing template library.
  • Personalization & Journeys: Set up dynamic content using AMPscript and manage automated flows in Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Data & Segmentation: Write basic-to-intermediate SQL queries to pull and manage subscriber lists.
  • Light Marketo Work: Apply transferable logic (smart lists, basic filter conditions) to support Marketo tasks.
  • Client Engagement: Speak directly with stakeholders to keep builds moving, working proactively rather than just waiting for tickets to land.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • SFMC Core Skills: Practical experience across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Data Extensions.
  • AMPscript: Mid-level capability, you know how to pull personalization straight from data schemas (no need for complex SSJS or nested joins).
  • HTML/CSS: Solid email coding skills, whether building fresh templates or updating old ones.
  • SQL: Comfort writing basic query statements to segment audiences. (We have Solution Architects on hand for heavy data modeling).
  • Marketo (Bonus): Baseline knowledge or a quick-learning mindset for simple list management and logic filters.
  • Communication: Clear, direct verbal and written English skills for everyday client updates.Qualifications:

Work Arrangement

  • Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
  • Work Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 am to 9:00 am PHT flexi start time, should complete five (5) hours work, including 1-hour unpaid lunch break
