Marketing Automation Manager

The Position The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for effectively managing and optimising Seequent’s marketing automation capabilities to support customer acquisition, solution adoption, and retention. This role leads the design, development, and continuous improvement of marketing automation programmes, including lead nurture, email engagement, campaign workflows, and integrations across marketing technology platforms. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders, the Marketing Automation Manager translates business and marketing requirements into scalable solutions. The Marketing Automation Manager also maintains the effectiveness and integrity of marketing automation platforms and associated data, using campaign and programme performance insights to identify improvements and support data-driven decision making. Success in this role requires marketing automation expertise, strong technical capability, and an understanding of customer journeys, marketing processes, and business objectives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: · Own and improve marketing automation programmes across email, lead nurture, and customer engagement, ensuring alignment with business and marketing objectives and delivery of measurable outcomes. · Design and implement integrated marketing automation solutions across target segments, regions, and product lines, translating marketing requirements into effective campaigns, workflows, and customer engagement programmes. · Manage marketing automation platforms and integrations, including Marketo, Marketo Measure, and Salesforce, ensuring data, campaign workflows, and system processes operate effectively and support accurate, timely execution. · Establish and maintain marketing automation and email marketing standards for segmentation, personalisation, messaging, campaign configuration, and execution to improve engagement, conversion, and customer retention. · Monitor and analyse campaign and programme performance to identify trends, issues, and optimisation opportunities, using insights to improve marketing effectiveness and pipeline contribution. · Own reporting and dashboards for data quality, campaign performance, programme effectiveness, pipeline performance, and email marketing ROI, providing stakeholders with clear insights to support decision making. · Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements, define appropriate marketing automation solutions, and successfully deliver campaigns, programmes, and system improvements. · Drive continuous improvement across marketing automation processes, workflows, integrations, and technology use to strengthen operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience. · Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and support on marketing automation practices and platforms, including coaching and knowledge sharing with relevant team members and stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you should have: · 5 years of experience in a marketing automation role, including designing and deploying email nurture campaigns. · Demonstrated experience and competency using enterprise marketing automation platform, including Marketo and Marketo Measure · Experience and knowledge of other platforms in our stack, including Salesforce CRM, Splash, Go to Webinar, Sprout Social, and Segment. · Experience with B2B SaaS and multi-lingual campaigns is an asset. · Ability to understand our products, markets, customers, and competitors, including what drives customer behaviour. · Experience collaborating with team members and providing support, coaching and training. · A collaborative, hands-on, and goal-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail. · Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and effective working relationships, receive feedback from diverse sources, and use it to grow personally and professionally. Additional Information This is a 12-month fixed-term position. It is a hybrid role based in our Vancouver, BC office, with an expectation of working three days per week in the office and two days remotely.
