This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys both creative production and marketing operations. You will work closely with the Director of Communications & PR, Marketing & Events Manager, attorneys and other colleagues across our U.S. and London offices. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media

  • Create LinkedIn and Instagram graphics and draft social copy for review; maintain the content calendar and schedule approved posts.
  • Set up and manage boosted LinkedIn posts, including audience targeting, within approved paid media budgets.
  • Prepare monthly social media performance reports using Hootsuite and recommend improvements to content, timing and targeting.

Email Marketing, Client Alerts and Newsletters

  • Format attorney-authored client alerts and newsletters, as well as invitations and other external email campaigns, for distribution using the firm’s email production tools.
  • Prepare related PDFs, website posts and graphics so that each communication is consistent across channels.
  • Track email engagement and recommend practical improvements to formatting, targeting and campaign execution.
  • Identify and help implement practical improvements to templates, campaign processes and reporting.

CRM and Contact Operations

  • Use InterAction+ to manage contacts, build and maintain distribution lists and segment audiences for firm communications.
  • Resolve data-quality issues and support the ongoing implementation and administration of InterAction+.

Website and Intranet

  • Update attorney biographies, headshots, announcements, news and blog content on the firm website and intranet.
  • Support SEO efforts and coordinate technical issues and enhancements with outside developers and IT.

Employee Communications and Recognition

  • Prepare welcome banners and internal announcements for new hires and firm news.
  • Coordinate new-hire welcome swag, manage firm publication subscriptions and maintain employee anniversary tracking.

Awards and recognition

  • Track award deadlines and submission.
  • Prepare award announcements, update attorney biographies with new honors and coordinate updates to office brag walls.

Internal materials and events

  • Create and format PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholders, and format pitch materials, using established brand standards.
  • Coordinate attorney and staff headshots.
  • Provide on-the-ground setup and logistics support for Los Angeles office events.

What you bring:

  • At least 3 years of marketing communications experience, including social media, email campaigns, and contact or distribution list management.

  • Experience creating social graphics, managing social accounts, and handling paid LinkedIn boosts and audience targeting.

  • Experience with an email marketing platform such as Mailchimp and with CRM or contact management, preferably InterAction+.

  • Strong proofreading, editing, and attention to detail, with sound judgment about professional audiences, data accuracy, audience selection, and required approvals.

  • Ability to produce polished graphics and presentations using Canva, PowerPoint, or comparable tools.

  • Strong organization, follow-through, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and work with attorneys and colleagues across offices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience that will help you stand out:

  • Law firm or other professional services marketing.

  • WordPress or a comparable content management system.

  • Hootsuite or comparable social scheduling and reporting tools.

  • SEO best practices.

  • Working knowledge of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, or experience streamlining workflows with no-code platforms.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, basic HTML, or video editing and production is welcome but not required.

Benefits:

We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) plan with a firm contribution; paid time off and holidays; and professional development opportunities.

Location and Schedule:

This position is based in our Los Angeles office. On-site attendance is required for designated office activities and events, including event setup. Occasional evening work may be needed for events or time-sensitive communications.

Application Materials:

Please submit a resume and a brief description of your experience with social media, email marketing and CRM or contact management. Relevant social graphics, email campaign or design samples are welcome. Share only public or appropriately redacted work that you are authorized to disclose.
