About the Role:
We are looking for a Marketing Consultant who can take Bhumi Fellowship to the places where young people actually are - cafés, colleges, youth hangouts, events, co-working spaces, bookstores, gyms, cultural hubs, and collaborate with our Marcomms team to drive applications.
This is a hands-on, action-oriented role.

  • Strategic Venue Partnerships

  • Event & Activation Execution
Orchestrate high-energy offline activations weekly, ranging from pop-up info desks to community meetups, designed to convert passive interest into immediate lead data.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting
Deliver weekly performance audits that map offline lead sources to conversion data, providing the Marcomms team with actionable "on-the-street" insights to optimize overall recruitment strategy.
Who We’re Looking For:

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, community marketing, youth marketing, or brand activation roles.
  • Interest in education, youth leadership, and social impact.
  • Comfortable with field work, meeting people, visiting venues, coordinating placements, and being on the move.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (social media, analytics).
  • A natural communicator who can pitch the Fellowship confidently to young people.
  • Fluent in English; Tamil communication skills are a strong plus.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
What Makes This Role Exciting:
  • High ownership and visible impact on Fellowship recruitment.
  • A mix of strategy, creativity, and execution.
  • Opportunity to experiment with unconventional marketing ideas.
  • Direct contribution to transforming public education in India.
Others:
  • Location: Chennai
  • Engagement Type: Consultant / Project-based
  • Duration: 2-3 months (extendable based on performance)
  • Start Date: Immediate / As mutually agreed
