This role supports the Digital Marketing team by managing the operational systems, workflows, and cross-functional processes that turn marketing strategy into delivered work. Serving as the central traffic and coordination point for digital marketing requests, this role ensures work moves efficiently from intake through delivery across lifecycle marketing, content operations, outbound marketing, SEO, and brand and field creative workstreams. By connecting insights across concurrent initiatives, surfacing process gaps, and reporting on operational and business outcomes, this role increases team capacity, accelerates time to market, and drives revenue in support of Service Excellence for families planning ahead and for those experiencing one of the worst times of life.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Operations & Traffic Management
- Manages the intake, prioritization, assignment, and delivery of incoming digital marketing requests across content, creative, and campaign workstreams
- Balances workloads and timelines across internal teams, agency partners, contract writers, and vendors to ensure commitments are met
- Executes and continuously improves the request intake process, ensuring requests arrive with the context teams need to deliver quality work
- Coordinates creative production processes and resources supporting brand and field marketing initiatives
Process Optimization & Governance
- Implements, documents, and maintains scalable processes for marketing and content operations within frameworks established by team leadership
- Participates in backlog and planning meetings, identifying process gaps, redundancies, and interdependencies across initiatives
- Maps workflows across the team, recommending and executing improvements where handoffs break down
- Tracks dependencies, risks, and issues across concurrent initiatives (RAID logs or similar), escalating early when timelines, scope, or resources are at risk
- Maintains working knowledge of the marketing technology stack and how data and work flow through connected systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manages day-to-day execution and tracking of cross-collaborative projects and initiatives spanning digital marketing, SEO, brand and field marketing, and creative teams
- Serves as the team’s internal agile facilitator, partnering with the digital product team in agile ceremonies and contributing to user story development, sprint refinement, and backlog prioritization to ensure marketing requirements are accurately represented and delivered
- Coordinates and executes user acceptance testing (UAT) for outbound marketing and content operations initiatives, validating that delivered functionality meets marketing requirements before launch
- Owns launch-readiness checklists and go-live coordination across campaign, content, and site releases
- Identifies connections between concurrent workstreams and ensures insights from one area inform work in others
- Supports team leadership in preparing cross-functional initiatives for stakeholder review
Reporting & Growth Identification
- Produces recurring reporting on project status, process health, team capacity, and initiative outcomes within established measurement frameworks
- Connects operational metrics to business outcomes, quantifying how process improvements translate to pipeline, conversion, and revenue impact
- Identifies and recommends growth opportunities, including underleveraged channels, unworked demand, and process changes that unlock capacity
- Supports development of business cases for marketing investments with data and operational analysis
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in marketing operations, digital project trafficking, or marketing project management with demonstrated ownership of multi-team workflows
- Experience trafficking digital jobs across creative, content, and campaign teams
- Agency background in a traffic, production, or integrated project management role preferred
- Experience in multi-location business environments preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Thrives in collaborative environments and can seamlessly move between tactical coordination, process discussions, and cross-functional facilitation
- Strong systems thinking and technical acumen with the ability to quickly learn new tools and understand how platforms connect
- Proficiency with project management and workflow tools (Workfront, Asana, Wrike, Monday.com, or similar)
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies, including user stories, sprint ceremonies, and user acceptance testing, with experience coordinating work across both agile and waterfall delivery models; scrum certification (CSM or PSM) a plus
- Fluency with marketing technology platforms, including marketing automation, customer data, and analytics tools, preferred; Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus
- Excellence in stakeholder management, organization, and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for executive, creative, and technical audiences
- Audit rigor and strong data hygiene practices when reviewing processes, reporting, and handoffs
- Comfort re-planning when priorities change, with sound judgment about when to facilitate and when to escalate
- Ability to travel as needed
