Overview

The Marketing Coordinator supports the Portfolio Management team by coordinating commercial and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth, profitability, and supplier performance. This role is responsible for analyzing business data, supporting pricing and promotional strategies, monitoring trade spend effectiveness, preparing market and performance reporting, and coordinating cross functional projects across Portfolio Management, Sales, Finance, Pricing, and supplier partners.

The Marketing Coordinator serves as a key business partner to the Portfolio team by transforming data into actionable insights, supporting Revenue Growth Management initiatives, maintaining critical business reporting, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic marketing and commercial programs. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, project management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth Management (RGM)
  • Develop and execute comprehensive RGM strategies aligned with commercial and profitability objectives
  • Drive pricing, promotion, assortment, and mix optimization initiatives across key brands and channels
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Distributor teams to deliver profitable growth
  • Trade Spend & Promotional Optimization
  • Improve trade spend efficiency through disciplined investment management and ROI analysis
  • Optimize promotional depth, frequency, timing, and customer investment strategies
  • Establish trade spend guardrails and performance metrics to maximize return on investment
  • Analyze promotional lift, incrementality, and margin impact to improve commercial effectiveness
  • Pricing & Mix Optimization
  • Lead price point optimization initiatives including everyday pricing, package architecture, and competitive price laddering
  • Evaluate elasticity, price realization, and consumer value perception to support pricing decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve premiumization and portfolio mix performance
  • Drive strategic recommendations to enhance gross margin and revenue growth
  • Supplier & Portfolio Coordination
  • Coordinate supplier meetings, business reviews, planning sessions, and communication initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between Portfolio Management, suppliers, Sales, Finance, Pricing, and other internal stakeholders
  • Marketing Communications & Presentation Development
  • Develop and maintain professional presentations, business reviews, promotional materials, and supporting communications for internal and external audiences
  • Produce accurate, visually appealing, and business-focused presentation materials that meet established deadlines and company standards
  • Project Coordination & Timeline Management
  • Coordinate multiple marketing, supplier, pricing, and portfolio initiatives simultaneously
  • Track project milestones, monitor deadlines, and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience in a marketing and/or administrative role preferred
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint
  • Experience with Diver/Program Advisor, Canva, and AI platforms a plus
  • Solid research/analytical skills required

Compensation & Benefits

The starting salary for this role is $38 per hour.
