Marketing Coordinator (Events & Digital) | WFH | Australian Client
Description
The snapshot
Staffstream is hiring a Marketing Coordinator for an Australian business that has been contracted to market a major annual festival, with the next event in June. The business is growing festival marketing as a line of work and wants to build a repeatable events marketing function it can use for more events.
The Directors set the strategy and creative direction. You'd turn that direction into finished campaigns: social media, video, design, email and SMS, landing pages, publicity, and ticket-sales promotion. This is an execution and coordination role, not a strategy or leadership position. About 60 to 70 percent of your time goes on marketing execution, and the rest on sales and promotional activity, including direct engagement with local businesses. You'd work alongside an existing team member who handles administration, operations, and booking tasks, and who has already set up GoHighLevel, moved the website, and connected the social channels. Over time the role will extend to other events as the business wins them. This role is open to candidates based in the Philippines.
One thing worth knowing: everything runs against a fixed event date, so the workload builds as the event gets closer.
What you will actually do
Campaigns and ticket sales
- Plan and run the festival marketing campaign under the Directors' direction, building a campaign calendar and delivering content, promotion, and publicity on time.
- Run ticket-sales promotions across social, email, SMS, and the website, tracking performance and adjusting as the event approaches.
- Create content around key event moments, such as line-up announcements, behind-the-scenes stories, partner and sponsor features, and countdowns, keeping everything on brand.
Design and content
- Create social media graphics and promotional materials.
- Edit short-form video using CapCut.
- Design posters, A-frames, and signage to a print-ready standard, so the business doesn't need to outsource design.
- Keep every channel and material on brand, and build reusable templates that make future events faster to promote.
Email, SMS, and GoHighLevel
- Build and send email and SMS campaigns in GoHighLevel, managing lists, segmentation, and scheduling.
- Build landing pages, marketing funnels, and automated campaigns, with the tracking that connects ads and outreach to ticket purchases.
- Report on open rates, click-through, conversion, and ticket-sales progress, and give the Directors clear, regular updates.
Publicity, outreach, and partnerships
- Prepare media releases and pitch them to radio, press, and other publicity channels.
- Engage directly with local businesses, partners, and community organizations to promote the event and generate ticket, sponsorship, and partnership interest.
Website and coordination
- Help manage the website, working with the existing team member, and take over selected social media tasks as they're handed across.
- Keep content calendars, campaign records, and shared marketing assets organized, so work is easy to hand over, repeat, and scale across events.
- Capture what works, so future events can be promoted faster.
What you need to bring
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing coordination or digital marketing, executing campaigns to a Director's or manager's direction.
- Strong graphic design skills, especially Adobe Photoshop. Please share a portfolio.
- Experience creating print-ready promotional materials, such as posters and signage.
- Short-form video editing experience using CapCut.
- Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel or a similar CRM and automation platform for email and SMS campaigns, landing pages, and funnels.
- Experience managing website content and landing pages independently.
- Strong written English, organization, and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage several campaign deadlines against a fixed date.
- A portfolio of your recent work. Please include a copy with your application (a PDF or link is fine).
Nice to have
- Experience promoting ticketed events or festivals. Promoting an event is quite different from marketing an online product, so this is highly regarded.
- Media relations, press outreach, or community promotion experience.
- Experience with ticket sales, sponsorships, or business partnerships.
The setup
- This role is open to Philippines-based candidates.
- Fully remote, working full Australian business hours.
- Staffstream provides your work-from-home equipment.
What's in it for you
- HMO health cover, with one dependent covered for free.
- Group life insurance.
- Paid leave credits.
- Work-from-home equipment provided.
