Gentry Locke Attorneys is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. This position will be located in the Richmond office and will support all marketing and business development initiatives of the firm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, executing marketing strategies; conducting market research; implementing special events; assisting with designing graphics for print and digital marketing projects; posting social media and website content; and assisting with the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, motivated, and possess strong people skills. Minimum of three to five years’ experience in a marketing-related role with working knowledge of AIO, SEO, and WordPress. Database administration and social media experience are strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel is essential. A willingness and ability to learn and expand current technology skills including versatile cloud apps is required to navigate the robust technology package the firm maintains.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development Support Manager and multiple attorneys.
  • Assists with researching clients, industries, markets, events, media opportunities, competitors, and other topics as needed to support the firm’s business development and marketing efforts.
  • Assists with maintaining firm contact database (CRM) by adding contacts, generating reports, and reviewing new and updated contact entries for accuracy.
  • Assists with print and digital marketing projects with fluency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Assist with the tasks that support events and projects, such as creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, creating, and operating PowerPoint presentations, and producing seminar booklets for attendees.
  • Assists with posting news, announcements, articles, photos, and video to social media platforms.
  • Responsible for updating attorney bios, “news and announcements,” event landing pages and other content on the firm’s website using WordPress.
  • Assist with writing, editing, and proofreading all business development materials.
  • Serve as backup to the Business Development Support Manager for the department’s budget.
