Marketing Coordinator

Discussion

You will create marketing content, communicate with users, grow an engaged community, plan campaigns and events, produce SEO-friendly content, identify partnership opportunities, support community strategies, improve processes, coordinate promotions and product launches, and help develop rewards and movie trivia programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement community engagement plans, marketing plans, and event calendars
  • Listen to the community and support troubleshooting with the core team
  • Produce SEO-friendly content for distribution across various platforms
  • Identify partnership, speaking, and event opportunities
  • Reach out to film communities, schools, and events
  • Identify and share trends, pain points, and community sentiment
  • Help build and implement a gamified rewards program
  • Identify process and tooling gaps and improve current practices
  • Attend, plan, and help host consumer-facing events
  • Execute partnership, event, product launch, and promotional activities
  • Develop and execute a movie trivia strategy

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand development, or community engagement
  • College diploma or university degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to be extroverted
  • Experience and comfort in customer-facing roles
  • Excellent copywriting, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with startups is preferred
  • Familiarity with the movie industry is preferred
  • Experience growing a brand from ideation to a large community is preferred
