Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across Portico's multifamily portfolio. This role partners with the marketing team, Regional Directors, onsite teams, and third-party vendors to maintain consistent brand standards, an accurate digital presence, and timely execution of property marketing needs.

The Marketing Coordinator supports property transitions and lease-ups, social media, reputation management, website and digital platform management, marketing collateral, reporting, and ongoing portfolio marketing initiatives.

Essential Functions:

Marketing Operations & Portfolio Support

  • Manage and execute incoming marketing requests while ensuring timely completion, accuracy, and alignment with Portico standards.
  • Serve as a day-to-day marketing resource for marketing leads, the digital marketing team, and operations, providing support across marketing platforms, digital assets, collateral, and property marketing needs.
  • Maintain organized marketing resources, platform access, documentation, and standardized processes to support efficient execution across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate with Marketing leadership and internal teams to support ongoing portfolio initiatives and special projects.
  • Coordinate website content updates, including leasing specials, office hours, photography, amenities, and other community information.
  • Create and coordinate property marketing materials, including flyers, social media graphics, resident referral materials, QR codes, promotional collateral, and other branded assets.

Property Transitions & Lease-Ups

  • Support the marketing onboarding and offboarding of communities during acquisitions, transitions, dispositions, and lease-ups.
  • Coordinate the setup, transfer, and optimization of social media accounts, local listings, reputation platforms, and other marketing systems.
  • Ensure accurate information, branding, contact details, tracking, and digital assets are accurately established across all local listings, social pages, Google Business Profile, and other marketing channels.
  • Coordinate marketing collateral and promotional item orders, and vendor requests, for communities across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team, internal departments, and third-party partners to ensure successful marketing transitions.

Social Media & Content Management

  • Support portfolio-wide social media execution by managing platforms, reviewing and approving content.
  • Develop social media calendars, resources, and content guidance to support consistent and engaging community-level social media activity.
  • Manage Portico's corporate LinkedIn content.
  • Coordinate social media account setup, access, integrations, and ongoing platform support for communities.

Reputation Management

  • Support portfolio reputation management initiatives, including review monitoring, response workflows, reporting, and review-generation efforts.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of digital platforms to identify and resolve inconsistencies, access issues, and opportunities for optimization.

Marketing Platforms, Reporting & Vendor Coordination

  • Support the administration and ongoing management of marketing technology platforms, including account setup, integrations, user access, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with website providers, social media partners, reputation management platforms, digital vendors, and other marketing partners to execute property needs.
  • Prepare and maintain recurring marketing and reputation reports to support portfolio performance tracking.
  • Assist with marketing audits, reporting, platform accuracy, and other initiatives that support Marketing and Operations leadership.

Training & Brand Support

  • Provide guidance and support to onsite teams on marketing platforms, social media, reputation management, and digital listings.
  • Assist with the development of training materials, presentations, templates, how-to resources, and best-practice guides.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve and standardize marketing processes across the portfolio.
  • Ensure Portico brand standards are consistently represented across digital and traditional marketing channels.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

Must reside in Texas

Years of job-related experience: Minimum 1-3 years of marketing or related experience

Degree required and area of study: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, and/or equivalent professional experience; preferred basic knowledge of multi-family leasing and marketing

Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

● General knowledge of marketing principles, digital platforms, social media, reputation management, and brand standards.

● Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

● Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assignments with minimal supervision.

● Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency.

● Effective written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to coordinate projects and collaborate with internal teams, onsite associates, vendors, and external partners.

● Proficiency in Multi-family CRM and PMS systems and familiarity with common marketing, design, and social media platforms such as Meta and Canva.

● Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and recommend practical solutions.

● Strong customer-service mindset with a responsive, solutions-oriented approach.

● Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.

● Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds when transporting marketing materials.

● Dexterity: Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements, including typing and handling small objects.

Work Environment:

● The role requires extended periods of computer work. The typical work environment has a moderate noise level.

● This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible for overtime pay. The employee may be required to work more than 40 hours per week to fulfill job responsibilities.

● Travel may be required for meetings with employees, clients, and vendors, as well as for training, retreats, and other business events.
