Marketing Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator will contribute to existing marketing programs throughout the company while assisting with developing new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including proposal responses, company communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work closely with Project Managers and other marketing staff to organize and manage the production of RFP/RFQ responses and presentations:
- Reviewing RFP/RFQ and client's needs
- Compose an outline of criteria/responsibilities
- Assign responsibilities/monitor deadlines
- Produce proposal content that best meets the client's criteria
- Write/edit proposal sections
- Lead quality review meetings
- Researches to analyze clients/prospects as well as competitors.
- Identifies new business opportunities from bid lists, market research, customer outreach, and teaming partner outreach.
- Tracks opportunity data and coordinates with appropriate staff regarding opportunities.
- Coordinate the design/editing of business development documents and participate in developing the marketing strategy.
- Coordinate the collection, organization, and maintenance of marketing/business development information, resources, files, and schedules.
- Coordinate public relations, advertising, and other outside events (i.e., tradeshows) as required.
- Track and maintain an internal group database of project descriptions, resumes, sub-consultants, contacts, standard content, etc.
- Coordinate divisional content for the website and business development.
- Supports, coordinates, and assists in the firm's marketing/business development activities.
- Interface with the Marketing team and Management to train on and standardize lead tracking to maximize client interface and go/no-go analyses
- Acts as a change agent through continued development, maintenance, and improvement of marketing efforts based on corporate goals, business development objectives, and growth priorities.
- May perform light office duties including but not limited to filing, making copies, and scanning.
- May carry out other duties as assigned by management.
