Job Purpose
At Grafik, the Marketing Director serves as an embedded agency consultant for our B2B client portfolio. This is a client-facing agency consultant role, not an internal marketing position. You will act as an extension of our clients' marketing teams, translating high-level business objectives into high-impact, lead-generating marketing programs.
This is a unique generalist role designed for a sharp strategic thinker with strong marketing operations acumen.
This role is tailored for an ambitious marketer who may currently sit on the corporate/in-house side but wants to sharpen their strategic agility inside a top-tier agency or an agency generalist looking to position themselves for a future leadership track.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic marketing partner and primary growth consultant for a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise B2B clients, aligning their business goals with actionable multichannel campaigns.
- Architect, deploy, and manage end-to-end B2B lead generation and demand generation campaigns designed to fill sales pipelines and maximize ROI.
- Audit and optimize client marketing tech stacks, including CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and analytics dashboards, to streamline tracking, reporting, and lead attribution.
- Collaborate closely with Grafik’s internal teams to deliver cohesive, flawless brand experiences.
- Partner with performance teams to oversee the performance of integrated campaigns. While you won't necessarily execute this strategy daily, you will guide paid media strategy and translate campaign data into executive-level performance retrospectives.
- Inform and shape B2B content strategies, ensuring that messaging resonates with target personas, connects across every platform and is optimized for SEO/GEO.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or relative, related field required.
- 8+ years of professional marketing experience with a heavy focus on B2B marketing strategy and execution required;
- Agency experience highly preferred, corporate marketing experience is also acceptable coming from a B2B setting.
- Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation tools including but not limited to HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo and CRM systems like Salesforce required.
- Comfort navigating fast-paced agency environments, managing multiple clients simultaneously, and building executive-level client relationships required.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills–you know how to challenge the status quo constructively and earn the room with C-suite stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency working alongside creative processes and techniques, including digital strategies and platforms required.
- Experience with and proficiency in commonly used document management software, particularly Google Suite and MS Office Suite, required.
- Experience with agency operations, pipeline, presentation, and time management tools, such as Jira, Forecast, HubSpot, Keynote, required.
Working Conditions/ Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
- Make themselves available to other members of the team when needed.
- Travel up to 30% for client-related meetings, internal team meetings, business development meetings, or conferences related to Grafik brand.
- Multitask and work well under tight deadlines is required, has a sense of urgency to obtain results while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Perform light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push, and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
