Marketing Director
Responsibilities
This role supports the efforts of the sales team in London and field offices across EMEA. The main part of the remit is to maximise marketing & promotion opportunities of linear broadcast clients and SVOD partners licensing our film and TV product. Management of the company presence at events including markets, festivals and screenings, both in-person and virtual is an important part of the role.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- A significant part of the role involves acting as liaison to marketing clients in key territories across EMEA. This includes:
- Preparing presentation materials, coordinating meetings, and updating action plans and reports for the sales executives
- Ensuring that licensees are presenting our films and series in the appropriate way in all media and advise them on the relevant guidelines, as well as coordinating approvals with internal stakeholders and providing technical support to clients as required.
- Researching and tracking details of key programme launches within EMEA on behalf of the linear marketing team.
- Managing high profile events. The candidate must have managerial experience overseeing company presence for a major Studio. While sitting in the Global TV Distribution group, this role must ensure all stakeholders across the company are represented in the appropriate way, these include channels, TV production, format sales, etc.
- Working with product owners to gather assets for all product in the pipeline to ensure that programmes are profiled in sales materials and distributed to our customer base post-sale.
- Collaborating with NBCU marketing teams cross-divisionally to maximise opportunities benefiting the business as a whole.
- Collaborating with external industry peers in arranging joint client-facing events
- Finding & implementing solutions which support team effectiveness both internally and with clients
Business Experience / Skills Requirement
- Proven track record within a major Studio marketing environment with considerable experience at Manager level or higher.
- Production and/or Creative Services experience with technical knowledge necessary to support workflows of marketing/ distribution.
- Technical competence with broadcast materials and terminologies.
- Proven ability to handle a range of demanding tasks within tight deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and experience with rights management.
- Excellent customer facing communication skills
- Proficiency in European language viewed favourably, especially French.
- A proactive self-starter able to work independently.
